Green Hill Farm
Green Hill Farm is located on Hartsboro Road in Wallingford, VT- directly across from the White Rocks Inn on Route 7 South leaving Wallingford.
We are primarily interested in Border Collie Training and can provide facilities and sheep for you to work your dog. If you are new to the shepherds way of life we can arrange for instruction from Jim McRae or one of our other talented trainers in Vermont or New Hampshire.
We have a round training pen, a square training pen, and a large open pasture for working sheep. We are the proud sponsors of ‘Dog Days’, a free monthly event where handlers and dogs get together to work, critique each other, and receive training tips from Jim McRae, Michael Dathe (… one of New England’s top Trialers) or one of our other guest instructors. We can also assist you in finding a dog friendly B&B or motel in the area.
There is a fee for private lessons. In addition to the instructor’s fees, there is a fee to use our sheep and training facilities for private lessons, note – only private lessons.
