Hoof Trimming Workshop.

Rutland Area Shepherds is pleased to announce a foot trimming clinic at Sue and Rob Carey’s farm in Wallingford, VT. on June 20th at 6:30pm. The clinic will cover basic hoof care, how to properly trim hooves and sheep handling for trimming.  We will also cover the use of a sheep chair, the prevention and treatment of hoof problems including how to set up walk through foot baths.  Almost all hoof issues are preventable with regular hoof care. Stop problems before they start! This clinic will be taught by experienced shepherds that have trimmed in excess of 100,000 hooves!
